ONE YEAR AFTER RECEIVING A GRANT, RECIPIENTS TOLD US...

  • They had an increased ability to pay their bills;

  • They had fewer decision-making limitations due to finances;

  • They had an increase in overall well-being;

  • And 95% said they had access to needed healthcare in the last 6 months.

SAMFUND BABY!

Fertility issues are common for young adult cancer survivors, making it difficult and expensive to start families. With our family building grants, we hope to provide a helping hand to those who want to be parents. Since we began awarding grants in 2005 we have given out nearly $120,000 for adoption, IVF, IUI, embryo transfer, surrogacy and sperm/oocyte/embryo storage expenses. David H. was one of our past Family Building grant recipients. This year he and his family are now celebrating the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Luke!
